About Company
Our parent company Copenhagen Energy A/S was founded in 2020. Globally we specialise in project development and short-term proprietary wholesale power trading with the aim of providing accessible and affordable power around the globe while combatting the climate crisis. Our success is due to a brilliant and passionate team of colleagues – a team we are currently in the process of expanding further with world-class talent. We treasure diversity and welcome all backgrounds into our team already consisting of over 15 nationalities. We like to work hard, and we also have fun!
Our Australian office opened more recently to support the development of our Western Australian projects. Copenhagen Energy acknowledge the First Nations Peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land and sea areas where our Australian office and projects are situated. We recognise the right to Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) in accordance with the principles outlined in the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. We are committed to fostering genuine engagements with local First Nations communities of the region where our projects are located, with the aim of ensuring their active involvement in our projects. We have commenced our journey in developing a Reconciliation Action Plan and we are committed to continuous learning throughout this process towards a just, equitable and reconciled Australia.
